Help children with complex care needs access education, support them to feel included in school life, and achieve their goals.You will work in line with the child's Education, Health and Care plan (EHC plan). Give encouragement and show appreciation of children's achievements and help to boost their confidence.You will be alone working so you must be competent to look after a child with complex care needs independently. Deliver care in line with the care plan which includes tracheostomy care, care of the ventilated child and gastrostomy care and administering all medications.You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client's care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.QualificationsWhat you'll needExperience working in a complex care setting.Experience in moving and handling.Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care.Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
