On behalf of a fantastic, family-owned Residential Care Home near Paulton we are actively recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

* Monday to Friday
* £40,000 per annum starting salary
* 19 bedded Residential Home, elderly care
* CQC rated ‘Good’ in all areas
The compay are looking for a motivated Home Manager to maintain the good reputation of the home and offer a fantastic service to residents and their families.
Within this Care Home Manager role, you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to ensure that your residents are cared for and supported to the highest standards possible. You will hold overall responsibility for the care home and will play a key role in ensuring that the independently-owned company’s high standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the service.
As the Registered Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and family members alike.

Care Home Registered Manager Skills and Experience:
* NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award
* Preferably 2 or more years of managerial experience within Care Homes
* Have a strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans
* An excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating a varied staff team
Registered Care Home Manager Duties will include:
* Undertaking the day to day management of the home according to the policies and resources determined by the Employer and the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 & 2012 and subsequent amendments.
* Liaising with local authorities and governing bodies such as CQC to ensure the consistency and wellbeing in the home.
* Regularly liaising with residents and their families to ensure consistent care is provided throughout.
