Job Requirements / Description
Registered Veterinary Nurse £30-38.5k DOE. Chiswick, West London
You love being a nurse, great at your job and at your happiest when caring for the animals.
But targets are taking over, often focussed on maximising profits not relationships. The irony is the bottom line looks after itself when the client is your main focus.
You have experience but it’s not being utilised and you are frustrated, thinking about moving but worried you will get more of the same.
A brand new high tech independent practice is opening its third branch in Chiswick, West London. Owned by a vet and run like an independent, not a chain where a kind, emphatic person is more important to them than previous experience.
There’s an RVN vacancy here. Working with an experienced team you will be getting stuck in from the start, prepping animals for treatment, X-rays, medications, caring for inpatients and advising clients.
This is an entrepreneurial culture where ideas are listened to and shared with a chance to shape the business and profession.
Developing a culture of ‘team first,’ where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time, is key here. A strong team who wants their best for patient and practice.
Combining modern elegance with first class pet care they are redefining the veterinary experience and building the vet group of the future. With beautifully designed clinics and inhouse purpose built technology they aim to transform how care is both accessed and delivered.
This is a 40-hour week role working days with no OOH. 1:6 Weekends 9am 1pm Sat and Sun, reclaim your downtime.
So, what’s in it for you? £30-38.5k DOE. VDS, and RCVS/RVN fees paid, CPD encouraged with a £750 budget and 3 days off. 25 days holiday, plus BH’s, day off for your birthday and pension. A profit share scheme will be in place when the practice is up and running.
They are located in a leafy part of London with great facilities nearby, lovely high streets, coffee shops and museums. With central London only 20 mins away by tube you can be ‘hitting the town’ with half an hour of finishing your shift!
Choosing a new practice is a big decision. You’re a good nurse. You care about the patients and the people bringing them in. Most importantly, you want somewhere you can stick around. A place to help, learn and call home.
So, what’s next?
Send your CV (don’t worry if it’s not up to date) We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.
Be a happier more fulfilled nurse
