We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our client in the Formby areal (L37).You'll be providing care and support to an 18 year old girl, who is currently in Alder Hey on a long term stay and looking towards a discharge date. Her care needs include chest physio, intermittent catheterisation, seizure management and peg feed. This is a 2-1 package and due to the complex needs we do require applicants to have previous experience in a complex care role, or caring for a loved one with similar complex needs.Shifts are 12 hour 8 - 8 and we have a full time days and full time nights position available. Whilst a driving licence is not essential you MUST be able to commute at the start/finish times to Alder Hey for the foreseeable future and then Formby following discharge. We will provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme for the specific skills required, which is overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the nurse-led team.
