BDS are recruiting for an assistant Care Manager for a supported living home near Crawley Hours: 36 per week to include alternative weekends and shifts between 7am and 10pm Pay rate: £28,000 - £29,000 34 days holiday Temp to permanent position Healthcare package Development opportunities High street and online discounts Free parking Training and education support Key tasks will include Carrying out assessment of new or existing residents. Ensuring all allocated residents have a comprehensive care plan in place Being responsible for the management and performance of care staff by providing induction, line management, supervision and support to a defined number of care workers Support the management team with all aspects of team management including recruitment, staff induction, training and disciplinary procedures and sickness absence Preparing rota’s in line with commissioned care hours Acting as the responsible person for the safe running of the care service in the absence of the Registered Manager The successful candidate will have experience in * Staff observations * Staff 121’s * Care plan writing * Residents assessments * Auditing of mar charts and log sheets * A good understanding of CQC regulation and how to apply these in practice To be considered for this exciting opportunity please apply now or call Kirsty on (phone number removed)
