Chief Business Officer, Pharma CMO, circa £150k base + bonus + LTIPs

About the Company:Our client is a privately owned, £50m Revenue Pharma contract manufacturing & packaging business with 450 staff over several sites in the UK. It has enjoyed dramatic growth over the last 15 years and in order to continue that growth and double revenues over the next 5 years they are seeking a Chief Business Officer, in a new role.About the Role:The Chief Business Officer will have the following responsibilities:Develop and manage the sales & marketing strategy for the business in line with the Board’s long term growth strategyManage the current sales team of 2 BD Directors and 4 Account ManagersExpand the sales team with the hire of 2 more BD DirectorsTarget new business in the UK and Europe for clinical and commercial manufacturing, packaging and nutraceutical product manufacturingA hybrid role with visits to the Head Office in the south of England for Board/team meetingsThe ideal candidate:At least 10 years’ BD experience in Pharmaceutical contract manufacturing or packagingOver 5 years’ experience of team managementA successful sales track recordThe ability and desire to be a player/coach in a hands-on roleAmbitious, goal oriented, a strong communicator and team managerPay range and compensation package:The base salary for this role is around £150,000 plus short term and long term incentives.
