Exciting Nursing Opportunity with Medteam Primary Care Services Recruiting on Behalf of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust Job Title: Staff Nurse - Band 5 Location: HMP Guys Marsh, Shaftesbury, SP7 0 AH Directorate: Forensic and Prison Services Hours: 37.5 hours/week (4 shifts per week) Contract: 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension Salary: Competitive rates About the Role As a Staff Nurse at HMP Guys Marsh, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to a vulnerable population within a secure setting. Key Responsibilities: * Provide a range of healthcare services, including acute and primary care, long-term condition management, and health promotion. * Support and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care. * Manage a complex clinical caseload, contributing to continuous service development and improvement. * Collaborate closely with prison staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care. * Ensure that patient-centered care is consistently delivered, from planning through to evaluation. What We’re Looking For: * Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC qualification. * Experience in secure or prison settings is a strong advantage. * Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. * Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a challenging environment. * Commitment to Oxleas’ values and to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
