Occupational Therapist/Private Hospital group

Daytime healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within a private hospital in London.To provide highly skilled and specialised assessment and treatment for patients within the in-patient/out-patient service, including pre-op assessment and a post-operative hand splinting clinic. Duties & Responsibilities * Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs. * Develop practice in addressing patient’s health and wellbeing needs. * Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information. * Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work. * Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security. * Develop and improve services. * Improve quality. * Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity. * Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices. * Apply technology formeasurement, monitoring and treatment of patients. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
