Contract: Permanent
Shifts: Flexibility required for long days, nights, and weekends
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 p/year + Benefits

Role Overview:

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join their Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Inpatient Ward. This role involves delivering expert care to children with a wide range of disabilities and neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the Senior Staff Nurse will mentor junior staff and lead the unit in the absence of senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and evaluate care plans for children with complex neurological needs.
  • Mentor and support junior nurses, stepping into leadership roles when needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and audits to enhance care standards.

What Youll Bring:

  • NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support.
  • Experience in Paediatric Nursing.
  • Desirable: Experience with tracheostomy care.
  • Strong communication and clinical governance skills, with an understanding of safeguarding issues.
