As an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of your clients during the evening hours (4pm - 10pm). This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working alongside a supportive team in a rewarding environmentOur office covers the areas of Havant, Hayling Island, Emsworth, Waterlooville and Clanfield.ResponsibilitiesProviding personal care and assistance to residents with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.Supporting residents with mobility and transferring, using proper lifting and transferring techniques.Monitoring and recording vital signs and other relevant information, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.Engaging residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote emotional well-being and mental stimulation.Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for residents.RequirementsA compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding the values and standards of our organisation.Flexibility to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Full UK Driver's License with access to your own vehicle.
