You will work within a busy service under thesupervision of our Clinical Lead and Operations Manager to improve thewellbeing of a wide range of individuals.Running health and social care services as a social enterprise, we investevery penny back into our care - and our people. So, if youre ambitious andready for a fresh challenge, progress your career with a sector leader.### Role ResponsibilityAs a Specialist Substance Use Nurse you will be involved with supportingopiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications and promotingthe uptake of naloxone. You will also provide support to the team providingBlood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations and will work closely with mentalhealth, physical health and social care services. Youll also help to create acollaborative approach that links Turning Point ever closer to outsideprofessionals and agencies.### The Ideal CandidateYou will need to be a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & MidwiferyCouncil. As an employee you will have access to RCNi to assist withrevalidation, indemnity insurance and support and supervision from the nursemanager and clinical lead. And of course, we’re looking for a Nurse who lovestalking to people with different needs, is genuinely interested in helpingthem, and possesses a deep level of empathy, understanding and patience.We value individual creativity and initiative and, whatever your role, youwill be fully involved in identifying opportunities to improve the quality ofour services and the service user experience. Your ideas will be listened to,and your suggestions implemented wherever possible. You will be supported inyour role by extensive training to help develop your skills.
