If you're passionate about care, hungry to deliver and want to be part of a flourishing company - we want to hear from youWe currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. long and short-term stays.An exciting opportunity has arisen with in the South Coast Nursing Homes for a Care Home Trainer, this role will be responsible for embedding training in our homes, and continuously improving standards.The training team is committed to providing professional, respectful and quality training ensuring all staff are trained to the highest quality. Due to expansion, we have a full time role - 40hrs per week and a Part Time role 30hrs per week.As a Home Training Assistant, you will:Support in the onboarding of new starters to ensure the best patient care is providedCarry out induction plans and complete 6 weeks of observed practice, provide useful and effective objectives and feedbackComplete 12-week professional discussion for the Care CertificateSupport employees with any performance issues and devise action plans in conjunction with the home managerObserve homes and employees working practices for any additional training needs they may haveAssess and complete competency with new and existing staff, including medicationKeep up to date recordsMore about you:Working knowledge of the care sectorNVQ 3-5 in Health and Social CarePassionate about improving others skills, with a focus on driving improvements in the training deliveredKind, caring, positive approachFlexibility in response to changing business needsExcellent communication skills written and verbalAble to use Microsoft OfficePackage:Salary of up to £30,000, Pro rata for part time hours (Dependent on experience) Access to your pay as you Earn itFree DBSSubsidised foodContributory PensionEmployee assistance programmeCycle to work Scheme Refer a friend scheme Industry leading training and development coupled with career progression#SCNHOther details Pay Type Salary Apply Now
