Plans are underway to invest in amulti-million pound new-build and refit of our current campus to increase ournumbers from 112 to over 262 children and young people.Foxwood Academyis a friendly 4-18 specialAcademy in Nottinghamshire. We were graded good by OFSTED in October 2017 andagain in March 2023. We have recently merged with a very local multi academytrust and see ourselves as a truly inclusive school. As we build our new school, ourneighbouring secondary school are likely to start building their new schoolmaking the overall investment in our 'learning village' one of the biggesteducational investments in the country. As you can imagine, we are veryexcited.Our students needs are varied but in general we cater forchildren and young people with moderate and severe learning difficulties. Manyof our children and young people have a diagnosis of Autism and a proportionhave additional speech and language needs.
