Job Title: Nurse / Senior Nurse (Days) Location: Portsmouth Setting: Medium sized Care Home Salary: Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience Hours: 36 hours per week (Day shifts, including some weekends) About the Role: Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and welcoming environment? We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Senior Nurse to join our clients’ team at a beautiful, medium-sized, purpose-built nursing home in Portsmouth. The home specialises in providing exceptional care and support for residents with dementia and has consistently been rated as ' Good' in all five Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met. • Support residents with dementia, promoting their dignity, independence, and choice. • Administer medication and treatments in accordance with care plans and medical advice. • Lead and manage a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support as needed. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised care plans. • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies, maintaining high standards of care in line with CQC guidelines. • Collaborate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes. • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
