Job Title: Nurse / Senior Nurse (Days) Location: Portsmouth Setting: Medium sized Care Home Salary: Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience Hours: 36 hours per week (Day shifts, including some weekends) About the Role: Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and welcoming environment? We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Senior Nurse to join our clients’ team at a beautiful, medium-sized, purpose-built nursing home in Portsmouth. The home specialises in providing exceptional care and support for residents with dementia and has consistently been rated as ' Good' in all five Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Additionally, our client’s home is highly regarded, boasting excellent online reviews from residents, their families, and friends. Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met. • Support residents with dementia, promoting their dignity, independence, and choice. • Administer medication and treatments in accordance with care plans and medical advice. • Lead and manage a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support as needed. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised care plans. • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies, maintaining high standards of care in line with CQC guidelines. • Collaborate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes. • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
