Associate - Mid-Market PE GP

We are currently working with a leading mid-market PE fund, who after completing their most recent fundraise, are now looking to add an Associate to its London team. The fund, which has a strong track record over a number of decades in investing across the lower to mid-market space and can offer the opportunity to join a dynamic team, with multi-region coverage. Responsibilities: Identify and source investment opportunities in the lower to mid-market space. Develop relationships with investment banks, brokers, financial sponsors, and industry professionals. Lead in-depth financial analysis, modelling, and valuation of potential investments. Oversee and coordinate due diligence processes, including financial, operational, legal, and market assessments. Prepare and present detailed investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee. Manage all aspects of deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operational teams to ensure seamless transaction execution. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience within PE, VC or in M&A. Proven track record of successful deal origination, execution, and portfolio management. Strong understanding of credit markets, debt instruments, and investment structures. Exceptional financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills. Advanced knowledge of credit agreements, legal documentation, and negotiation processes
