Band 7 Diabetic Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Diabetic Nurse to join our team in Surrey. This is a part-time position, offering 22.5 hours per week, with flexibility between Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing specialist care to patients with diabetes, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert clinical care and advice for patients with diabetes. * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. * Educate patients and their families about diabetes management, including lifestyle changes and medication adherence. * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care. * Participate in diabetes clinics and manage caseloads independently. * Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress. * Keep accurate and comprehensive patient records. * Contribute to the development and implementation of diabetes-related policies and protocols. * Support and mentor junior staff and students. Requirements: * Current NMC registration. * Significant experience in a similar role, particularly within diabetes care. * Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to drive and have access to your own transport, as the role may require travel between sites.
