Job summaryLimited vacancies available at full & part time - May close prior to closing date.We are looking for dynamic and flexible Care Support Workers to join ourEmergency Department and Acute Medical Unit.We are interested in hearing from compassionate, caring and confidentindividuals that are both professional and reliable. The role of the caresupport worker is imperative to the health and well-being of our patients, asyou will support them with their personal hygiene, toileting, mobility andnutritional needs.The successful candidates will need to have excellent communicationskills and a genuine passion for caring for others. The successful candidatewill be working in a fast paced environment, delivering care to acutely unwellpatients. Formal care experience is desirable; however, we also welcome thosewith informal care and life experience to apply. Once all 15 modules have been assessed as competent; you will be awarded with a nationally recognised qualification and you will be equipped to provide compassionate, safe and high-quality care and support to our patients and their relatives.The post holder will work as part of themultidisciplinary team delivering a range of designated tasks/duties of aclinical and non- clinical nature including personal compassionate care topatients, working within agreed policy and procedures.The post holder will work under thesupervision of the NMC Registrant at all times, who holds delegatedaccountability for the work designated.
