This peripatetic role, available on a flexible contract, will involve providing coverage across our six care homes, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Administer medications and treatments, adhering to medical prescriptions and care plans. Complete physical/ psychological assessments of new residents on admission. Monitor and record vital signs, health status, and changes in residents conditions. Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individual care plans. Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and families. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary. Maintain accurate medical records and reports. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Stay updated on current medical practices. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with active NMC nursing pin. Proven experience as a registered nurse in a care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing healthcare needs.
