Job Description| Salary £23,152 per annum - pro rata | Permanent, Part Time | 34 hours per week | Lancashire | This role is not open to international sponsorshipPay Award PendingLancashire County Council provide catering services to 16 homes and 11 day centres for older peoples services across Lancashire, serving over 800 meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the serviceYou will work as part of a team providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for service users.Key responsibilities: Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans Direct and/or supervise other employees Order supplies and store deliveries Maintain records and stock controlWhat we are looking for: Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirable Experience of catering for large numbers is also desirableWorking Hours/Days: Covering a 3 week rota 1 weekend in 3 (enhancements payable) 34 hours per week Driving license essential Use of vehicle essential (mileage paid)You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use.
