Our placements operate on a 2 week on, 2 week off rota, and you will be alternating with each other.This is a permanent placement, and you will be supporting our lovely female client with companionship and help around her beautiful home in the quaint village of Steyning.Our client likes to keep active and enjoys going on day trips to Brighton and local towns, so a driving licence is essential.Following a person-centred care plan, you will tailor your support to meet our clients' needs.Your role will include:You'll be matched with our client based on your skills and you client's needs, providing tailored support and companionshipFollowing our client's individual care plan, you will generally provide a daily average of 10 hours care provision to your clientMoving and handlingPersonal careMedication supportFood and nutrition supportCooking, cleaning and ensuring the smooth running of the client's homeWho we are looking for:You'll have a genuine passion for caring and making a differenceYou'll be organised and reliableYou'll be a great communicatorYou'll have oodles of patience and a kind natureQualificationsWhat's essential:A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle and business insuranceThe right to work in the UKWhat we can offer you:Competitive salary, from £125 per day and x 1.5 pay on bank holidaysPaid mileage, 45p per mile & paid car MOTReferral scheme - £250 per referralPaid training & shadowing visitsOngoing support from Team LeadersRegular team meet-ups and social eventsAward winning training, including Care Certification, City & Guilds Dementia Training and Parkinson's Disease specialist trainingCareer progression opportunitiesAccess to employee assistance programmeAdditional Information
