Superior Healthcare is urgently recruiting experienced Care Assistants and Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a client with complex care needs in their family home in Burgess Hill. As a Care Assistant, you will join our complex care team and work long-term with one or a small number of clients. Plus, benefit from a fixed rota and the option of overtime. Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us, paid induction shifts, and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors. If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills. Role Overview: As a Complex Care Assistant, you will join our Burgess Hill team on a 1-2-1, as part of a small team of support workers and registered nurses. Our client has clinical needs due to his seizures. We therefore require care team members with experience in seizure management, VNS, and rescue medications. Healthcare Assistants requirements: – Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in a UK healthcare setting. – Experience working with complex care clients. – Confident in working with children and making shifts engaging. – Comfortable being around pets (cats and dogs). – Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
