Corporate Banking Director - Healthcare

We are seeking a Corporate Banking Director with experience in generating and maintaining corporate clients within the healthcare sector. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of corporate customers and enhance the bank’s local presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare corporate banking customers, including acquiring new clients.
• Develop and execute a business plan addressing internal risk, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key market professionals and stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of risk management, including credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
• Foster a collaborative network across Metro Bank for a unified approach for customers and colleagues.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet proposition, pricing, risk policy, and reporting requirements.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proven relationship management skills and healthcare sector knowledge.
• Excellent credit underwriting abilities, with a track record of lending to large SMEs and mid-corporates.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management.
• Success in building and expanding banking relationships.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior/executive management.
