Registered Nurse Opportunity – Hitchin, Hertfordshire Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire Position: Full-Time Salary: £15.65 - £17.73 per hour An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and dedicated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic care team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will support individuals with acquired brain injuries and various neurological conditions, including Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis. About the Role: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high standards of personalised nursing care to service users. They will lead the care team in providing quality care, ensuring that service users and their families are supported throughout their care journey. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care for service users, adhering to evidence-based guidelines. Leadership: Provide leadership, supervision, and support to the care team, ensuring high standards of care and smooth day-to-day operations. Care Planning: Involve service users and their families in the care planning and review process. Training & Supervision: Offer education, training, and guidance to carers, colleagues, and students as required. Continuous Improvement: Use evidence-based practice to maintain and enhance care quality, contributing ideas for improvements. Record Keeping: Ensure that all records are maintained in line with company policies and NMC guidelines.Qualifications & Experience: Essential: NMC Registered Nurse Evidence of continued professional development Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of relevant legislation in the independent care sector IT competency Desirable: Experience in neurological or palliative care Completion of NMC Standards for Student Supervision and/or Assessment, or willingness to complete this trainingWhy Join This Team?
