Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and making a real difference in patient's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our client's Medical Team in Milton Keynes as a Part-Time Care Navigator.
We are looking for individuals who can maintain a calm and composed demeanour and enjoy engaging and assisting people. The flexibility to cover additional hours is essential for this role.
Monday to Friday:1:00 pm - 6:30 pm
27.5hrs per week
Temp to Perm - £11.44 per hour
This busy yet rewarding role offers the chance to play a vital part in our client's healthcare team, navigating patients to the right services and providing non-clinical advice. You'll be part of a supportive environment that values your contributions and encourages professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking appointments for patients, both face to face and over the phone
- Using SystmOne (no experience required)
- Dealing with general enquiries from patients and visitors efficiently and courteously.
- Greeting patients, doctors, and visitors at Reception in a polite and friendly manner
- Answering the telephone promptly and effectively
- Making appointments using the computerised appointment system
- Assisting with any other administration required
- Manage repeat prescriptions.
- Handling patient samples
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
- Have the capability and knowledge to accurately refer the patient to the appropriate service.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
- Be able to work to strict deadlines but also have a flexible approach to their work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
